Former USF student body vice president arrested
Former USF student body vice president Joenathan Jones was arrested Monday on felony charges of grand theft and fraud.
Jones, 25, was vice president under Jessica Pawelkop in 1998.
His arrest Monday isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble with the law in Tampa since graduating. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested him in May 2001 on two misdemeanor counts of check fraud.
HCSO could not be reached for comment late Tuesday. Jones is being held on $2,000 bail.
