SOME MAY CRY. SOME MAY BE SHOCKED

But the Residence Hall Association hopes everyone will walk away with a more comprehensive understanding of what oppression really is.

The Tunnel of Oppression is a yearly tradition put on by the RHA that demonstrates various forms of oppression through skits written and performed by residents and resident assistants.

Patrons of the interactive exhibit are given a glimpse into the hardships and prejudices faced by homosexuals, interracial couples, and immigrants along with several others.

The guided tour ends with a slideshow presentation and the opportunity for students to write their own feelings of oppression on wall hangings.

The Tunnel of Oppression will run tonight and Thursday from 6 to 9. The tour begins in front of the Andros Center and takes approximately 20 minutes.
