Tampa man charged with 305 counts of child porn

TAMPA — A Tampa man who investigators say was working in Iraq as a government contractor has been arrested on 305 counts of child pornography.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Richard Dill on Sunday at Atlanta International Airport as he departed a flight from Dubai. He was transported to the Fulton County Jail.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office had issued an arrest warrant for Dill, and a county judge had set a bond of $2.2 million. Dill is now awaiting extradition to Florida.

Dill’s roommate, Michael Booth of Akron, Ohio, has also been charged with possession of child porn.

It was not immediately clear if Dill had obtained an attorney.
