Josh Heath receives release waiver
Less than a month after his father’s dismissal from the team, freshman guard Josh Heath was granted a release from USF. Tampa Bay Times’ Joey Knight reported Sunday afternoon that Stan Heath confirmed the release was official.
Josh will still be able to play his next three years elsewhere without needing to sit out due to a “hardship waiver.”
