South Florida football announced its complete 2023 schedule on Tuesday morning, showcasing the first 12 teams coach Alex Golesh will face in his first year leading the program.

Out of the 12 teams USF will compete with, six will be hosted at Raymond James Stadium including Florida A&M, Alabama, Rice, FAU, Temple and Charlotte. The Bulls will then hit the road for their matchups against Western Kentucky, Navy, UAB, UConn, Memphis and UTSA.

In its 2023 campaign, USF will face Charlotte, Rice and UTSA for the first time in program history. Even with an array of fresh opponents in their schedule, the Bulls are slated to play seven teams who competed in bowl games.

To start off the season, South Florida will travel to Western Kentucky for its season opener on Sept. 2. The Bulls will then return to Tampa for three straight home games against the Rattlers on Sept. 9, the Crimson Tide on Sept. 16 and the Owls on Sept. 23 to kick off conference play.

Following its homestand, USF will begin its two-game road trip in Maryland on Sept. 30 to play Navy, then to Alabama to face UAB on Oct. 7.

USF’s homecoming game will feature a new rival following Central Florida’s conference change, hosting FAU rather than UCF on Oct. 14.

During their second two-game road trip, the Bulls will be slated against the Huskies on Oct. 21 for their final non-conference game and the Tigers on Nov. 4.

Finishing out conference play, South Florida will host Temple and Charlotte on Nov. 11 and Nov. 25. It will complete its away portion of the schedule at UTSA on Nov. 17.

The Bulls will need to make a lot of adjustments as they face a variety of new teams along with challenging opponents like SEC powerhouse Alabama.
