As the game clock expired during USF’s clutch victory over No. 24 FAU  on Sunday, a different scenario played out on the baseline.

A person was stopped by University Police (UP) at the Yuengling Center after running onto the court.

The person was not arrested and will not be charged with a crime, a UP spokesman said.

An officer observed the fan attempting to run onto the court after the game and instructed them to wait. The person  ignored the officer, the spokesman said.

A second officer saw the person running on the court and placed them in handcuffs on the ground, the spokesman said.
