USF football releases 2024 schedule
USF released the schedule for its upcoming season on Thursday as coach Alex Golesh looks to build off an unexpected seven-win campaign and a blowout bowl victory against Syracuse.
The Bulls will face four conference foes at home – Memphis, UAB, Navy and Tulsa.
South Florida will be on the road for conference games against Tulane, FAU, Charlotte and Rice.

The season begins on Aug. 31 with a home game against Bethune Cookman. It is the first-ever meeting for the two programs.
USF will then hit the road for a rematch against College Football Playoff semifinalist Alabama on Sept. 7. The Bulls lost to the Crimson Tide at home last season, 17-3. After a road game against Southern Mississippi on Sept. 14, the Bulls will return home for their final non-conference game to take on Miami on Sept. 21.
The two teams last faced off in 2013, resulting in a 49-21 loss for the Bulls.
The Bulls begin their conference slate with a road test against American Conference semifinalist Tulane on Sept. 28.
Following that matchup are two consecutive home games against Memphis on Oct. 11 and a Homecoming outing against UAB on Oct. 19.
USF will head to Boca Raton for a rematch against in-state foe FAU on Nov. 1, who defeated the Bulls 56-14 last season in a Homecoming blowout loss.
Rounding out the conference slate are home games against Navy on Nov. 9 and Tulsa on Nov. 23.
The final two road trips will be to Charlotte on Nov. 16 and Rice on Nov. 29 or Nov. 30.
Notably, the Bulls have received the attention of the national media – enough to play three Friday night matchups.
The games against Memphis and FAU are currently scheduled for a weekday primetime kickoff. Rice will be a Friday night game if it is played on Nov. 29.
Kickoff times and broadcasts will be announced at a later date
