Tampa Electric Co. employee shocked
TAMPA — A Tampa Electric Co. employee is recovering after being shocked.
A TECO spokesman says the employee, whose name was not released, was injured Monday morning when he made contact with a piece of electric equipment used in upgrading a substation.
The spokesman said the upgrades are regular procedures and similar incidents do not happen often.
