A search committee recommended Thomas Longo fill the position of University Police Chief.
Longo was then appointed by the vice president of Student Affairs after USF President Judy Genshaft’s approval. A headline and story in Friday’s Oracle stated otherwise.

Longo will replace Chief Patrick Johnson, who is retiring in May.
