UP plans checkpoint
University Police will conduct its first sobriety checkpoint since January on campus this weekend. Officers will check vehicles for impaired drivers from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. onApril 14, according to a UP press release.UP did not release the exact location of the checkpoint.
UP started conducting on-campus checkpoints regularly early in the fall 2006 semester. No arrests have been made.- Staff report
