USF to host 2009 NCAA Volleyball Championship
USF was named the host institution for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship, the Women’s Volleyball Committee announced Monday.
The event, made possible through a partnership between USF, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, the St. Pete Times Forum and the Tampa Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau, will crown the Division I Volleyball national champion and is scheduled for Dec. 17-19, 2009.
USF will also host the 2008 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament First & Second Rounds and 2008 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Final Four. Both events will also take place at the St. Pete Times Forum.
