Women’s basketball announces home-home series with former conference rival

USF women’s basketball will begin a home-home series with UConn next season, according to a Wednesday post to its X account.

The Huskies will host the first matchup on Nov. 10, 2024, and the Bulls will host the next game in the 2025-26 season.
The two teams faced as Big East and AAC members for 15 seasons from 2005-20.
UConn is 33-0 against USF. Their last matchup was at the Battle 4 Atlantis on Nov. 21, 2021, where the Bulls lost 60-53.
Bulls coach Jose Fernandez passed Huskies head coach Geno Auriemma for career conference wins in the AAC with 119 on Feb. 4, 2021, in a 65-63 win against SMU.
