A thunderstorm, packed with heavy wind and rain, passed through USF on Thursday night. Extensive tree damage across campus extended northwest from the Sun Dome to Bruce B. Downs and Fletcher Avenue. According to University Police, no injuries were reported, however, three cars were damaged by falling trees. Utility poles were also knocked down on Maple Drive near the soccer stadium.
