The Oracle is in the process of reviewing and refining its values and ethics policies and will share them here soon.

In general, the newspaper endeavors to cover the campus thoroughly, reporting news of all divisions according to the news value without favoritism to any division. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of statements of fact made in news and editorial materials with primary responsibility resting on those who write and edit.

Oracle staff adheres to the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists/Sigma Delta Chi and the Associated Collegiate Press.

Corrections

Unfortunately, factual errors happen and it is important to us to set the record straight and take responsibility for our errors.

Factual errors in stories, captions, and headlines are set straight with corrections as soon as possible. To submit a correction, email The Oracle’s editor in chief at oracleeditor@gmail.com.

Corrections and clarifications will appear in bold at the bottom of the story where the error was made.
